- Submit an enquiry, demo or trial request via our website or direct outreach
- Are onboarded as a trial user of the SentrFix platform
- Otherwise contact or interact with us
Data handling for enterprise clients is governed separately under applicable subscription and service agreements.

Contact and business information
When you enquire about our services, request a trial, or are onboarded as a trial user, we collect information such as your name, business email address, phone number, job title, and organisation name or site/operation you work with.
Site or operation information
When we set up a trial environment for you, we also record the site or operation you are associated with. This is collected directly by OptiumSI staff during onboarding and used solely to configure your environment.
Website and technical data
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and pages visited. This data is used for website security and performance only and is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to support basic website functionality and, where analytics tools are in use, to help us understand how visitors interact with our site. We use only strictly necessary cookies and, where applicable, analytics cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies at any time, though some website features may not function correctly if you do so.
We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:
- To respond to enquiries, demo and trial requests
- To set up and support SentrFix trial environments
- To communicate with you about our products and services
- To manage our business relationships and sales activities
- To maintain the security and performance of our website

- We will not use your personal information for purposes incompatible with the reason it was collected without first obtaining your consent.
We process your personal information where one or more of the following applies:

- We are required to do so by law
OptiumSI operates under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share it with the following categories of recipients:
- Cloud infrastructure providers who host our systems (such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), under data processing agreements
- Email and CRM platforms we use to manage communications and business relationships
- Our professional advisers (legal, accounting, auditing) under obligations of confidentiality
- Government, regulatory, or law enforcement bodies where required or permitted by law
- A successor entity in the event of a business sale, merger, or restructure, where the recipient is bound by equivalent privacy obligations
A list of specific recipients can be provided upon request.
Some of our third-party service providers may store or process your personal information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers are subject to privacy obligations at least comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles, in accordance with APP 8.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, to meet our legal obligations, or to assert or defend legal claims. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it securely.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. These include encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. In the event of an eligible data breach, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
- Make a complaint about how we have handled your personal information
